Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
