TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
